ZANU PF to update sister movements on Zim situation
ZANU PF will soon undertake a whirlwind tour of the SADC region to update sister liberation movements on the true situation prevailing in the country and dispel notions that the country is in a crisis.
This follows a successful meeting last week between ZANU PF and a delegation of the ANC which was dispatched to verify unfounded assertions of a crisis in Zimbabwe peddled on social and South Africa media.
Updating the ZANU PF policy meeting, Secretary for External Affairs in the Politburo Cde Simbarashe Mumbengegwi, said engagement with sister Liberation movements was necessary to present a true picture of the state of affairs in Zimbabwe.
He said the meeting with the ANC delegation had agreed that there was no crisis in Zimbabwe but the country was facing challenges just like South Africa which has its own set of issues to tackle.
Cde Mumbengegwi said the onslaught on Zimbabwe via social media was a well calculated and other sister liberation movements must be made aware of the modus operandi been used
He said utterances attributed to some members of the ANC delegation reverting to the Zimbabwe in criss narrative was not a reflection of the ANC collective and position adopted by the meeting.
