TRAVELLERS WITH COVID19 SYMPTOMS TO BE TESTED AT PORTS OF ENTRY
As a way of curbing the spread of the Covid19 pandemic, Government has said that travellers will be tested at ports of entry if they display Covid19 symptoms, even if they have valid Covid19 free certificates.

Efforts to reduce transmission of the Covid19 virus have been implemented and they have been yielding positive results with reductions in the numbers of confirmed cases and reduction in the number of deaths.
It is with that in mind that Government further eased lockdown regulations
“In order to facilitate faster and easier discharge of returnees, it was decided that those travellers who presented COVID-19 free certificates issued 48 hours from departure would be discharged for self-quarantine," she said.
“However, those travellers who displayed COVID-19 symptoms regardless of having a valid COVID-19 free certificate will have to be tested at Ports of Entry, along with those who do not have COVID-19 certificates. The cost of this testing, which is USD60, will be borne
Speaking at the same media brief, Minister Mutsvangwa said the negotiation of civil servants salaries was on the table.
“Government is aware of the challenges facing civil servants including teachers and is committed to improving the welfare of its workers. Consultations are currently underway to consider the request by the Apex Council in the last negotiating meeting held with Government," she said.
“On its part, Government has maintained the USD75 COVID-19 allowance up to the end of December and the 40 percent cost of living adjustment, which the workers have requested Government to improve, has been paid and will reflect in civil servants accounts by end of day tomorrow (2 October 2020).”
