The ZANU PF Midlands Province Women's League campaign trail was at Mkoba Poly Mkoba North Constituency campaigning for Asp MP Cde Edgar Ncube.
The Midlands Province Women's League Chairwoman Cde Tsitsi Zhou (MP) was flanked by Midlands Province Women's League Member Cde Mvundla and her team , Central Committee members , DCC Chairman Cde Brown Ndlovu and other ZANU PF Gweru District Party Leadership.
In her address, the Provincial Chairwoman said women are the backbone of ZANU PF and they should, in their numbers ,drum support for Edgar Nvube, Tanyanyiwa Rumbe to ensure a landslide victory in the Forthcoming by-election.
In her speech, the Midlands Province Women's League Chairwoman Cde Tsitsi Zhou (MP) urged attendees to remain resolute in defence of the gains of the liberation struggle and to vote for ZANU PF to ensure that the Second Republic continues to score major milestones in the energy, mining, agriculture, and other sectors. She also implored Mkoba North ZANU PF members to campaign and vote in a peaceful manner.
The bumper crowd, comprising mostly registered voters from Mkoba North Constituency, left no doubt that Cde Edgar Ncube and ward 11 councillor Tanyanyiwa Rumbe will consolidate ZANU PF lead ahead of the by elections.
She also took time to thank the people of Mkoba North for voting His Excellency President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa in the just ended harmonised elections.
