His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has congratulated the Provinces which recently won the by-elections.

Masvingo and Matabeleland South recently held House of Assembly by-elections and witnessed ZANU PF candidates winning. This was the same for Local Authorities held in Manicaland and Matabeleland North Provinces.

Speaking during the 384th Ordinary Session of the Politburo, President Mnangagwa said the results showed the Party’s popularity.

"I congratulate Matabeleland South, Matabeleland North, Manicaland and Masvingo Provinces for securing decisive victories for our Party in the recently held Parliamentary and Local Authority by-elections. The overwhelming success in these elections continues to attest to the strength of our grassroots mobilization strategies, and the popularity of our people-centered policies. Makorokoto, Amhlophe," Cde Mnangagwa said.

"I, therefore, thank our membership and all communities in general for their unwavering commitment to remain masters of their destiny, under the leadership of ZANU PF."
