ZIMBABWE IS NOT RUN ON SOCIAL MEDIA: CDE CHADZAMIRA
ZANU PF MASVINGO Provincial Chair Cde Ezra Chadzamira has castigated social media abusers and advised that the country is not run on social media.
Various attempts have been made to use social media platforms to run the country amok while creating and peddling it as ungovernable.
These efforts have resulted in an outcry that has seen some neighboring countries meddling in the internal affairs of the country.
Speaking during the Masvingo Provincial Coordinating Committee meeting held over the weekend, Cde Chadzamira said it must be known to these social media users that Zimbabwe is not run on those platforms.
He urged them to take a leaf from the President and First Secretary of ZANU PF Cde E.D Mnangagwa who is in touch with the masses and advised Party members to verify social media reports before being misled
"Let us contribute meaningfully to the Provinve and be watchful for the enemy who is everywhere even in the Party. We should not forget other members who were causing dispondency in the Party and members should be watchful of those."
He took time to indicate strides made
He said the Province is now engaged in winter wheat, winter maize and 4000 hectares in Tongaat Hullet to help in food provision.
Road development projects in the Province according to the Provincial Chair are going on well as well as various projects under devolution.
The Minister appreciated work on the Chilonga irrigation scheme. He added that the Master plan for Tokwe Mukosi is still pending, regularisation of illegal settlers in Chingwizi is being considered.
He thanked the President for securing 100 heifers for the Province in Gutu District which suffered loss of cattle due to foot and mouth disease.
