ZANU PF Youth League honours Cde Kuretu

By Staff Writer

ZANU PF Youth League yesterday took time to honour the late National Hero, Cde Victor Panganai Kuretu.

The late National Hero was buried at the Heroes Acre yesterday.

Speaking during the Assembly yesterday, His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, the Party’s First Secretary and President, said the youths must safeguard the hard worn independence.

"We meet shortly after the Heroes and Defence Forces holidays, whose commemorations serve as a constant reminder to us all of the sacrifices made by our forefathers, heroes and heroines," President Mnangagwa said.

"As the youth of today, you must preserve the rich legacy, defend our Independence and carry forward the revolutionary vision. The blood, sweat and sacrifices of the many sons and daughters of our beloved motherland, Zimbabwe, should serve as a source of inspiration to all of you as we march towards Vision 2030."

In that regard, the youths were invited to observe a moment of silence in honour of the late National hero Cde Victor Panganai Kuretu.
