His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa says Zimbabwe’s independence is gaining it respect.

Speaking upon arrival at the Robert Mugabe International Airport, President Mnangagwa said, "Zimbabwe was given the first opportunity to present which was an honour. We are respected by the American business people and they asked a lot of questions about our country. Being very independent and speaking our mind gains respect."

President Mnangagwa was in New York for the 81st United Nations General Assembly, where he reaffirmed Zimbabwe’s openness for business.
