Speaking at Tongogara Business Centre yesterday in Shurugwi, Midlands Province, President Mnangagwa said ZANU PF’s victory was on the horizon for the upcoming General Harmonised Elections to be held next week on 23 August 2023.

President Mnangagwa also assured people that the country would never be sold out by ZANU PF. 

“Isu veZANU PF hatifi takatengesa nhaka yedu, our victory is on the horizon, our victory is certain… musi iwoyo tose dzvamu dzvamu kuenda kuno voter, tinege tichichenegetedza nhaka yedu,” said the President.

The President also said the people of Zimbabwe must continue to safe guard their heritage.

“The people of Zimbabwe you continue to show your reciting love for your mother land Zimbabwe, you are showing your commitment to defend your heritage. To defend your freedom and sovereignty kuchengetedza nhaka yedu yataka siirwa namadzitateguru edu,” he said. 

The President also said that the people of Zimbabwe were great descends of the Mutapa Empire.

“We who are gathered here we are the descendants of the great Emperor Munhumutapa, so we must never allow ourselves to feel inferior.  We are a great nation a grate people…,” he said.
