His Excellency the President and First Secretary of ZANU PF Cde E. D Mnangagwa whilst speaking at the 354th Ordinary Session of the Politburo, said the Party had to promote and consolidate the development milestones realised by the Second Republic to date.
The ZANU PF led Government is fulfilling the Party Manifesto promises by developing every sector in order to achieve vision 2030.
“Our Party Constitution outlines a vision and mission for us to achieve. The Party must not tire in promoting and consolidating the development milestones we have realised to date. Our Party and Government are indeed on course towards achieving a prosperous and Empowered Upper Middle Income Society by 2030, there is no going back,” President Mnangagwa said.
His Excellency went on to urge every Party cadre to promote the culture of hard-honest work and increased production and productivity
“In our context and as we take the Party to the grassroots as entailed by our slogan “Musangano kumasero”, I urge every cadre of the party to promote our culture of hard-honest work, service to the nation, as well as increased production and productivity.
“Our own productive capacities are indeed an important building block with regards to transforming our people’s lives and in contributing to the regional blocks shared industrialisation aspirations,” His Excellency said.
President Mnangagwa went on to say that at a Government level, the deployment and mobilisation of internal resources, expertise as well as learning from other well performing economies has seen the country recording ground-breaking milestones.
