Acting President Col (RTD) Mohadi has said the true growth of a nation is measured by its character and by how clearly they offer vision and hope to the next generation.
Addressing the Pan African and World Christian churches convention in Bulawayo Acting President Col (RTD) Dr Kembo Mohadi said government truly acknowledge that God is faithful to Zimbabwe and citizens must also reflect on whether they have treated one another with dignity, regardless of their different backgrounds.
“It is important that we gather to give thanks to the Lord, who has shown us his enduring love. If we truly acknowledge that God is faithful to our nation, then we must also reflect on whether we have treated one another with dignity, regardless of our backgrounds. The true growth of a nation is measured by its character and by how clearly we offer vision and hope to the next generation,” said Acting President Mohadi.
Acting President Mohadi also highlighted that under the leadership of His Excellency President Mnangagwa government has made significant progress across all sectors of the economy and the year 2025 has seen the achievement of stable macro-economic conditions.
“Under the leadership of His Excellency President Mnangagwa, the government has made significant progress across sectors, including Agriculture ,manufacturing, energy ,mining and tourism. In agriculture, food security has been strengthened through the pfumvudza program. In addition, the commissioning of Al-powered silos has expanded our storage capacity, further enhancing national food resilience.
“ The year 2025 has seen the achievement of stable macroeconomic conditions, resulting in a more stable exchange rate .This stability has also attracted many investors to the nation in search of investment opportunities .I therefore call upon the church and government to continue working together so that we may successfully achieve our shared goals.
“We should continue to pray for our leader, His Excellency President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa upon whom God has bestowed a national vision that we are collectively working to fulfil. The Church continues to play a pivotal role in supporting the Government’s efforts to combat drug and substance abuse,”said Acting President Mohadi.
Acting President Mohadi also emphasized that the path towards vision 2030 is a clear and the church must play a pivotal role in enabling the nation to achieve its national goal.
