Gutu East Constituents met in Ward 39, Bhasera, in a well attended star rally to show their support for the ZANU PF 14 June by-elections candidate, Cde Zvarevashe Masvingise.
Contituents who came from the different wards also took time to listen to ZANU PF National Political Commissar Cde Munyaradzi Machacha who relayed the Party’s confidence in the by-elections slated for 14 June.
The Province's Political bigwigs also came in their numbers to support their own whom they were confident would accompany them to Parliament after the elections.
The slogans which showed so much excitement for the 'Member of Parliament in waiting' Cde Masvingise.
In his message to the Guest of Honour Cde Munyaradzi Machacha, the candidate shared his readiness to deliver on President Mnangagwa's promises.
"Gutu East Constituency is ready to fulfill His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa's vision. There is no compromise to service delivery. I have read all the books among them NDS1 and NDS2. The books I will read from now on are these people in order to achieve the vision of leaving noone and no place behind. I am ready to deliver."
Minister of State for Masvingo Cde Chadzamira said the ruling Party was confident of victory.
"If you want to see if the ruling Party will win, you look at the attendance. If the attendance is full of women, you can be rest assured that ZANU PF will win. The ruling Party gave people land so that they could be empowered."
He added that the Party will not rest until tap water is provided and urged the electorate to go out in their numbers on 14 June and vote resoundingly for Cde Masvingise.
The Guest of Honour, Cde Munyaradzi Machacha encouraged the electorate to go to the 14 June by-elections with their welfare in mind.
"We are all here to support Cde Masvingise as we usher him to Parliament. You decided a long time ago that he was the man you wanted and looking at the pain that you have over the loss of this community's gallant sons and daughters who fought for Zimbabwe's independence, there is no way that you can let go of this revolution," Cde Machacha said.
"We are also looking at the work that His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa is doing which is evident of his desire to empower his people. A lot of programmes are there to empower the women, youth and war veterans. There is also work to do with the economy to enable you and me to make money, therefore o to the 14 June by-elections knowing that your life is with ZANU PF and vote for Cde Masvingise."
The by-elections for Gutu East Constituency are slated for the 14th of June and the revolutionary Party, ZANU PF is confident of victory.
