ZANU PF Commissariat Department Director Dr Davison Gomo has been honored for his immense contribution to the country and church.
Receiving his award in Harare this weekend, Dr Gomo noted that the ruling Party works very well with the churches , which are guided by the same principles.
"Whether we are talking about a political party or not, in this case ZANU PF which forms government, I do not see the difference between what the church is doing and what the Party and Government is doing. The bottom line is that we must all speak to the needs of the people. We must speak to the need for unity. We must speak to the need for peace. We must speak to the need for development.
His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa has been advancing these ideas. So, I see a natural symbiotic relationship between the church and government. The church can preach negativity, which is why they find a natural fit into ZANU PF."
Dr Gomo earned his PhD in leadership and management from Logos University for his role in the country and the church.
