ZANU PF joined the rest of Africa in virtually commemorating Africa Day , under Pan African Women’s Organisation PAWO.
ZANU PF is a member of Pan African Women’s Organization (PAWO) represented by Secretary for External Relations and a member of the Central Committee in the Women’s League Cde Betty Nhambu Kaseke as the United Nations Representative.
This year's theme for Africa Day was "Justice for Africans and people of African descent through reparations."
Africa Day is a day commemorated to unify the nation's and their aspirations for a brighter future and sustainable development.
Issues affecting these countries include domestic violence, young women's empowerment in Africa, immigration and its consequences for African women and the role of women in conflict resolution.
The online virtual meeting had representatives from East, West, Central and Southern Africa.
