ZANU PF Secretary for People with Disabilities, Cde Rossy Mpofu says people living with disabilities have a special home in His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa's heart hence their unwavering support for Amendment Number 3 Bill.
Speaking on the sidelines of disability Sensitization and Mobilization Workshop held at the Harare Province this Tuesday, Cde Mpofu noted that President Mnangagwa's recognition and upliftment of people living with Disabilities has witnessed many of them being appointed to high level decision making positions.
"We are here at the Harare Province for this Sensitization Workshop to make the people understand just how important they are to President Mnangagwa. You may be aware that it is under the Second Republic that we now have the National Disability Policy. President Mnangagwa also appointed me (despite being blind) to be Secretary of the Politburo and advise on disability issues because we have a special place in his heart," said Cde Mpofu.
"It is therefore imperative that we accustom ourselves to knowing that we also have a huge role to play in developing our communities and country. This is why we support Resolution Number One and subsequently Amendment Number 3 Bill because it will give President Mnangagwa enough time to achieve Vision 2030."
