Newly inaugurated Zimbabwe's President, His Excellency President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa will join other world leaders in New York for the 78th session of the General Assembly (UNGA 78).
The General Assembly will be held under the theme, “Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity: Accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals towards peace, prosperity, progress and the sustainability for all.”
The significance of this meeting is that Zimbabwe will also be advancing its vision 2030 which is aimed at ensuring the lives of the people of Zimbabwe are uplifted.
President Mnangagwa's re-election will ensure that the agenda of a middle income society is achieved as already seen through the infrastructural development projects seen across the country.
Several other poverty alleviating strides are being taken through the various Presidential Input Scheme and the Presidential Borehole Drilling Scheme among others.
