Born frees for Economic Development National Chairman as well as Chiedza Youth for Skills Founder, Cde Masimba Rubatika says the organization is working hard to ensure that it churns out skilled youths to fulfill His Excellency, Cde Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa's vision 2030.
The organization is affiliated to ZANU PF and has a vision of empowering young people with various skills among them welding, carpentry and farming amongst others.
Cde Rubatika said gone are the days when white collar jobs made sense as now is the time to build Zimbabwe.
"The organization has been seized with efforts to impart various skills to young people in order to help them find purpose and stop them from engaging in drugs and substance abuse. We realize that our young people need to be preoccupied so that they desist from crime and early child marriages," Cde Rubatika said.
"Today is unlike yesterday when we trained for white collar jobs. We want to produce technically relevant personnel so that our children are employers not employees."
Cde Rubatika added that despite their efforts to uplift the lives of the young people, some of the challenges include access to transportation which would help give more exposure to them as they meet other children.
