ZANU PF is geared to win the 23 August 2023 General Harmonised Elections this up-coming month.
We shall vote peacefully, Zimbabwe must be united and seek on its common goal, said President E.D Mnangagwa.
“We are going to be having observer missions from SADC, AU, UN EU and they shall all come here to seek that everything is moving peacefully. Us alone we are peaceful not leaving anyone alone, we condone violence we need peace which must be understood. We of ZANU PF want peace and unity before, during and after elections.
“In 2018 we achieved two of the three, there was peace before the elections and there was peace during the elections but after elections trouble began, ZANU PF says no, no, no to violence we will continue to preach peace, we shall preach unity, we shall preach respect, and preach love and harmony, I commend all my fellow country man and women as well as the youth in both urban and rural areas for preserving peace and unity, I thank you all in Zimbabwe that up now there is no violence, it is good for us, we do not need to please anyone to be peaceful.”
The President also said we shall put to shame all the detractors political desires.
“Our detractors do not want any peace for our elections to be forfeited, we must put to shame their desires as we reject that interference in our domestic affairs and political space, we do not monitor elections in USA or France but as for elections in Zimbabwe they all come here. When Zimbabwe holds it elections it’s monitored, ZANU PF shall also monitor their elections.”
President Mnangagwa also said the business community is manipulating the economy.
“Those who are hoarding and manipulating the economy I say to you this is Zimbabwe and it’s for Zimbabweans, either you are with us or you are not with us, if you are with us we shall support you and give you the lee-way to do business but if you are not with us…,” said the President.
