Mashonaland East Provincial Coordination Committee members have been challenged to rise to the occasion of leadership.
The challenge was made by the ruling ZANU PF revolutionary Party’s Secretary General, Cde Advocate Jacob Mudenda during his tour of the Provincial Outreach Programme. The programme is aimed at building a stronger Party is ideologically aligned to the Party’s Constitution.
“The task before us is clear. It is to build a united, disciplined and ideologically grounded Party that translates into tangible improvements in the lives of the people,” the Secretary General said.
”Let us therefore leave this gathering today with renewed commitment, with unity of purpose and determined to serve with dedication, discipline and integrity. Let each one of us in our different portfolios be our own self managers. Manage yourselves. Be self-motivated and rise to the occasion of leadership.”
The Secretary General emphasized that development must reach every community so that President Mnangagwa’s mantra is fulfilled.
“Through hard work, organization and unwavering commitment to duty, we shall continue to build a vibrant and prosperous Party that is always at the service of the people.”
