Vice President Chiwenga has said President Emmerson Mnangagwa is taking the lead in championing critical youth empowerment programmes pivotal to the social economic development of the nation at large.

Introducing the Guest of Honour at the National Youth Day celebrations in Bulawayo today ,ZANU PF Second Secretary and Vice President General (R.T.D) Dr Chiwenga reminded the young people that they are the vanguard of the economic revolution that President Mnangagwa is currently championing under the Second Republic .

Vice President Chiwenga said the Second Republic under the able leadership of President Mnangagwa has rolled out a series of youth skills employment developmental projects that has been implemented to scale up production.

“We are all aware that the Second Republic under the leadership our Guest of honour has implemented and sacled up numerous youth empowerement programmes .The intiatives are designed to nature entrepreneurship by providing access to affordable finance educational scholarships and essential resources as well as opportunites for skills employment development.

“Programmes such as the youth empowerement and transformation project ,the national youth service and various other skills training initiatives have been critical in equiping young people with tools they need to become job creators rather than job seekers

“We are deeply greatful to the guest of honour for taking the lead in creating an enviroment where the youth feel valued and engaged and where their voices are actively heard in decision making processes that shape our nation ,”said Vice President Chiwenga.

Vice President Chiwenga also said the National Youth Day is not only a day of celebartion but also a moment of reflection and urged the young people to remain discplined , patriotic and loyal in sparing the economic growth of the nation.

“We must all strive to create a Zimbabwe where every young person has the opportunity to realize their full potential and playing an active role in shaping the future of our country.

“As we gather today we celebate the youth lets us remember that national youth day is not only a day of celebartion but also a moment of reflection.

“It an opprtunity to remind the youth that they are the vanguard of the economic revolution that our guest of honour is championing .I urge all youths to remain discplined , patriotic and loyal in sparing the economic growth of this country,”said Vice President Chiwenga.
