No constitutional right will remove ZANU PF from power: Chief Munyikwa

By Margaret Kamba

Chief Munyikwa says no constitutional right will remove ZANU PF from power.

Speaking from Ward 16 in Kurai in Gutu East Constituency, Chief Munyikwa said chiefs who are custodians of the land will support the revolutionary Party, ZANU PF which brought about Zimbabwe's independence from colonial rule.

"We do not have a problem with ZANU PF. As Chiefs, we are custodians of this country, which came through the blood of the daughters and sons of Zimbabwe. For this reason, we support the Party, which brought about this freedom we enjoy today."

Chief Munyikwa added that "the election process is just a formality and no Constitutional of voting will remove ZANU PF from power."

The Gutu East Constituency by-election is slated for the 14th of June with Cde Zvarevashe Masvingise as the Party’s candidate.
