NATIONAL CHAIR COMMENDS ZANU PF AND CPC RELATIONSHIP
ZANU PF National Chairperson Cde Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri says the servant leadership of the two leaders of the sister Parties must be commended.
She said this during an online seminar held
The relationship between the two Parties dates back to the liberation struggle of Zimbabwe during which the CPC worked with the liberation movement in helping ZANU PF achieve its independence from colonial rule.
The two countries have worked with each other very well with the 'all-weather friend' standing
"Allow me to refresh your memories on the very important reciprocal state visits first by the General Secretary of the CPC and President of the Peoples Republic of China Cde Xi Jinping on first to second December 2015 and by the First Secretary of ZANU PF and President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Dr E. D Mnangagwa on three April 2018," the National Chairperson said.
"The two reciprocal state visits cemented our already established historical relationship and further guaranteed our propulsion into the dawn of a new Era for both sister countries.
"It is my fervent hope that as you brainstorm and share experiences on state governance in the new era, you will do so with the background understanding that without reform and opening up, there won't be any meaningful dynamic development."
She added that there is need to take a leaf from the guiding principles of the two leaders.
"Let me take this opportunity to encourage you to continue drawing inspiratuib from the "Third Volume on the The Governance of China" written by the General Secretary of the CPC Cde Xi Jinping who said and I quote "Running such a huge country is a great responsibility, and it brings arduous work. I will fully commit myself to the people and never fail them. Iam ready to out aside my own interests and devote my all to China's development," she said.
"The aforementioned statement is a clear demonstration of the servant leadership by our leaders which we need to emulate. Equally important you should also be greatly inspired by the First Secretary of ZANU PF Dr E. D Mnangagwa's clarion clarion call to the people of Zimbabwe during the 17th National Peoples Conference when he said and I quote, "We must walk the talk, empty talk and empty promises will knot move the country forward, there is news for honest hard work. Economic development must now take the front seat in our national agenda."
