Matabeleland South's Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Cde Albert Nguluvhe, along with Permanent Secretary Cde Dhlamini-Maseko and Directors and Economic Development key Stakeholders visited Midlands Province for a Look and Learn tour on the hosting of The National Independence Day Celebrations and Children Party.
During the visit, Honourable Albert Nguluvhe, emphasized that there is need to improve next year's hosting of the event.
"We have come to Midlands to learn, and what we are going to implement in Matabeleland South is for the President. We promise to do even better for the President, and we wholeheartedly applaud His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa for the decentralization of this programme."
The meeting highlighted the importance of preparation and coordination in hosting a successful independence celebrations.
The Midlands, Hon Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Hon. Owen Ncube, Permanent Secretary Doctor Edgars Seenza, Director of Infrastructure Planning and Environmental Management and key stakeholders were part of the meeting.
