In ZANU PF’s quest to grow its support base ahead of the next elections, numerous programmes have been rolled out to have the populace understand who the Party is and what it stands for.
The programmes have witnessed the development of communities in ways that people had not imagined with individuals heeding to the call to build Zimbabwe. The mantras leaving no one and no place behind and Zimbabwe built by its own people have ensured the turnaround of the country’s fortunes.
In His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa’s message during the 389th President Mnangagwa urged the Party members to be mindful of their duty to uplift the lives of the ordinary people of Zimbabwe.
“Equally important is the need for ZANU PF to face head-on contemporary issues such as the impact of ICTs as well as Artificial Intelligence, among other trends, on our body politik and national government systems. We must be proactive and prepared to adapt our Party in line with these developments. Our national realities, rich liberation ethos and the people-centred character of our colossal revolutionary Party, should not be neglected,” President Mnangagwa said.
“Additionally, the supremacy of our Party, must be embedded in all decisions we make, including our programmes and projects. We are a constitutional Party, anchored on discipline, unity and adherence to procedures. We carry the weight of our Party Vision.
“Going forward, let us make the requisite sacrifices and sustain the momentum to fulfil our sacred duty to transform Zimbabwe into an empowered, modern, industrialised, prosperous and upper middle income society.”
“It is pleasing that our Party structures throughout the provinces remain accountable to the grassroot membership base. Musangano wakasimba kuma Cells and Villages. I commend the Party leadership at various levels for reporting back to our political structures with regards to the outcomes and resolutions of 22nd National People’s Conference. We should continue to ensure that, no one and no place is left behind. ZANU PF is a Party that remains ready to welcome and accommodate the people of our great motherland, Zimbabwe.
“In carrying out these grassroots feedback engagement programmes, let us always unite the Party and consolidate our revolutionary ideals. Let us never put ourselves or individual members above the Party.
“Our colossal revolutionary mass Party, ZANU PF must remain above individuals and personalities, beginning right at the grassroots levels. Accordingly, political and socio-economic conversations, as well as economic empowerment activities in our communities, should remain guided by our Party’s founding Aims and Objectives. Ngatirambei tichitevedzera nekuchengeta gwara remusangano wedu weZANU PF.”
What makes this time very memorable is that, the development train that Zimbabwe is currently on is unstoppable. It is literally from all ends and has seen the growth of the economy from everywhere. The people of Zimbabwe now understand that each of them must play their role in growing this country. They are no longer folding their hands to allow others to develop Zimbabwe but are taking an active role.
With such zeal and enthusiam, Zimbabwe will achieve vision 2030 earlier that anticipated.
