The Children of Zimbabwe Liberation War Veterans Association (CZLWVA) stand in solidarity and showing their unwavering support for His Excellency the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Cde Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa in his vision for an upper middle class society by year 2030 the appetite and desire has been necessitated by the economic growth and numerous developmental activities that have sprang across the country ever since the inception of the 2nd republic in the new dispensation as led by non other than the Commander in Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, Cde Dr E.D Mnangagwa.
We further stand in solidarity and in support of resolution number 1 together with the people of Zimbabwe who voted for the ruling party ZANU PF to be their political representative in government aslead by His Excellency Cde Dr ED Mnangagwa. We formally and unequivocally expresses our resolve which agrees in torto the amendment of Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3, which is currently under consideration by the Parliament of Zimbabwe, as a strategic legislative instrument for advancing national and economic development. The blood that runs within us, is that of our Fathers and Mothers who were undefiant youths of yesterday whom when they were given an order to fight the oppressor they did so with great resolve and sacrifice and so today we carry on with that spirit in the defence of our heritage ZANU PF. This Amendment bill No. 3 is from the people and our duty is to defend and support together with the people what is good for our people and country.
As an organisation rooted in the values and aspirations of the liberation struggle, CZLWVA firmly believes that sustainable economic growth, institutional stability, and investor confidence are inseparable from a responsive and adaptable constitutional framework.
Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 presents an opportunity to enhance governance efficiency, strengthen institutional continuity, and improve the effectiveness of State structures that are central to economic planning, public service delivery, and national development.
CZLWVA is persuaded that the proposed amendments will contribute to a more predictable, coordinated, and stable governance environment, conditions that are essential for attracting domestic and foreign investment, accelerating industrialisation, promoting innovation, and fostering inclusive economic participation, particularly for the youth and historically marginalised communities.
Furthermore, we recognise that economic development is not merely a fiscal objective but a constitutional imperative that must translate into job creation, infrastructure development, improved public services, and sustainable livelihoods for all Zimbabweans.
In this regard, Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 aligns with the national vision of building an upper middle-income economy through strengthened institutions and effective leadership.
In conclusion, the CZLWVA is aware of detractors, negative malignants that are already on their marks ready to charge against the will of the people, against the resolution of ZANU PF, against the President and Commander in Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces. Our message is UKABUDA MU ZANU PF UPENYU HAKO HUNOUNYANA SESHIZHA RABVA PANA MAI VARO stand together with the people before the people reject you, the will of people and the majority will always prevail.
