ZANU PF National Political Commissar Cde Victor Matemadanda says elected DCC leaders must possess the leadership qualities that help build the Party.
Speaking during a meeting with Provincial Chairpersons, Provincial Commissars and ZANU PF Election Commissioners, Cde Matemadanda highlighted the need to have leaders that possess the skills to move the Party forward.
"Indiscipline should not characterize the Party members. We should work for the Party because we are comrades," the National Political Commissar said.
"The call to duty requires that when you put people into positions you look for quality cadres who will run the districts very well.
It requires that we support people that have been selected into office and and teach them."
Cde Matemadanda noted that there is a difference between a Party member and a Party Cadre as a member is only in the Party for benefits.
He said people must understand that at times one must lose their life to serve the revolution and this does not mean that one's sacrifice will be rewarded.
Cde Matemadanda warned that the G40 elements are delinquents who have acted unconstitutionally when the Party states the roles of the youth, women and men.
He said they have failed to form their own Party but want to take over the Party.
