Addressing Masvingo Provincial Leadership yesterday, ZANU PF Vice President and Second Secretary Cde K.C D Mohadi encouraged the Party leadership to work closely with the people and be part of them because ZANU PF stands for the people.

The Second Secretary said this in Masvingo during his sixth (6th) leg of his Provincial Tours where he is meeting with the ZANU PF Provincial leadership and highlighting to them His Excellency the President and ZANU PF First Secretary Cde E. D Mnangagwa’s expectations from the Provincial leadership, for the party to progress well.

“Leaders should go to the people, live with them, listen and learn from them. Respect constituencies which voted for us. Party leadership should be part of the people and people should celebrate together with us on any victory because it is theirs.

“Let our messaging touch our people’s hearts because we are one of them they are part of us. All this is done in love of our people and nation at large. What keeps us together as a Party, are the values and ethos of our Revolution. ZANU PF stands for the people and is for the people by the people,” said the Second Secretary Mohadi

Cde Mohadi went on to encourage the Party leadership to ensure the Party’s continuity by nurturing and teaching the young about the Party.

“As leadership we need to assure the future generations of the continuity of the Party. ZANU PF should keep on going even after all of us are gone. Our youth are an important constituency for the ongoing of our beloved Party. Therefore we need to nurture and teach our young people on the importance of holding onto the benefits of independence and revolutionary ethos.

During his tours, the Second Secretary has also been encouraging unity in the Party and calling for the Party to grow.
