"Following the successful 22nd National People’s Conference, the Party has undertaken a comprehensive programme to ensure that all Resolutions adopted at the Conference are effectively communicated to the grassroots. Guided by the Party’s commitment to organisational transparency, accountability and inclusivity, a structured feedback and mobilisation process has been rolled out across Provinces, Districts, Branches and Cells," he said.
"Through this extensive reporting-back process, the Party has reaffirmed its character as a mass-based people’s Party that values continuous engagement within its structures. The initiative has strengthened internal cohesion, deepened ideological consciousness and enhanced collective ownership of the Resolutions adopted at the 22nd National People’s Conference."
He added that, "His Excellency, the President, Cde Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa, participated at the African Union-European Union Summit in Luanda, Angola. The Summit, convened under the critical theme, "Promoting peace and prosperity through effective multilateralism," served as a pivotal platform for strengthening the strategic partnership between the two continents. President Mnangagwa actively engaged in high-level discussions focused on fostering sustainable development, enhancing economic cooperation and addressing shared global challenges. His attendance underscores Zimbabwe's commitment to proactive and principled engagement within the international community, championing a foreign policy rooted in mutual benefit and multilateral solidarity."
Advocate Mudenda also took time to congratulate the Women's League for the honour it has been given.
"I am pleased to announce that Zimbabwe’s voice on the continental stage has been further elevated through the appointment of the Senate President and the Women’s League Secretary, Cde Mabel Chinomona, as the First Vice Chairperson of the Executive Committee of the African Parliamentary Union," the Secretary General said.
"This distinguished honour, conferred during the 84th Session of the Executive Committee and the 47th Conference of the APU in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, marks a significant milestone in our nation’s growing influence within African Parliamentary affairs. Equally significant is the selection of the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Gezi, as the representative of the African Parliamentary Union in Southern Africa."
