To know is to accept ignorance: SG Mudenda

ZANU PF Secretary General Cde Advocate Jacob Mudenda has challenged participants to a two-day capacity building workshop to draw lessons from our culture in order to develop Zimbabwe.

Speaking at the workshop organised by the Department of Education, Ideology and Research, and held under the theme, "Strengthening Ideological Clarity and Mobilisation Capacity of Party Secretaries of Education, Ideology and Research," the workshop brings together Party and top Government officials from across the country's provinces.

"To know is to accept ignorance. If one is to benefit from any form of education, one must expound the virtue of humility namely that noone knows everything. We must engage during this foundational values of society. No nation can truly aspire to sustainable prosperity, enduring peace and genuine self-determination without without deliberately and profoundly investing in an education system that is meticulously designed to develop competent citizens, cultivate ethical leaders, inspire innovative thought leaders and forge patriotic nation-builders.”

Advocate Mudenda added that our forefathers did not go to school yet their wealth of knowledge far exceeds that of renowned scholars.

The workshop is aimed at strengthening the ideological grounding, leadership capacity and mobilisation skills of Party Secretaries responsible for political education and research.
