Matabeleland South's Minister of State for provincial affairs and devolution Hon Albert Nguluvhe has pledged to continue supporting organisations handling social security issues in Beitbridge.

Mudi wa Pfulufhelo Safe haven is a home for Survivors of Sexual and Gender Based Violence. It was founded in February 2019 by Mr & Mrs Gora after they discovered a gap in service provision when it comes to cases of Sexual and Gender Based Violence.

To date, 7812 Clients have walked through our doors. 

Services provided:

1. Temporary Safe Shelter

2. Psycho-Social Support

3. 03 meals a day

4. Life skills training

5. Training in Income generation projects

6. Service linkages

They have 04 permanent staff volunteers as well as Student Interns who assist us.

He made the affirmation today while attending a Christmas luncheon for survivors of sexual and gender based violence at Mudi wa Pfulufhelo Safe Haven.

He said it was critical for community leaders to support vulnerable communities.

The event brought together stakeholders from various Government agencies, the local municipality, and the District Development Coordinator. 

His commitment highlights the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing social issues.

The luncheon aimed to provide a platform for survivors to share their experiences and receive support. The event ended well as Hon A. Nguluvhe served lunch to the survivors.
