Zimbabwe is open for business mantra is bearing fruit with America hoping more of its companies to Zimbabwe just like John Deere.

“It is a big priority for us to support agriculture in Zimbabwe. John Deere is an iconic American company it’s over 200 years old and makes some of the best products. We are very proud that John Deere is here doing business. We want to bring more American companies to Zimbabwe,” he said.
He also said, “We hope there will be more we hope that the environment for private sector led growth in Zimbabwe will continue to be strengthened.”
President Emmerson Mnangagwa also appreciated the John Deere team for the confidence they have shown in Zimbabwe through investment in Zimbabwe’s agriculture sector and expressed gratitude to the American President Donald Trump and his administration. He also said he was optimistic that the partnership would remain symbolic enduring and mutually beneficial.
In line with the Transitional Stabilisation Program (TSP), Government is partnering both foreign and local investors so as to drive growth and collaborative opportunities. One of the TSP’s primary focus is on enhancing the attractiveness of the country when it comes to business.
Zimbabwe has more to give however sanctions are hindering its development.
