THE 338th Politburo session of ZANU PF says it will deal decisively with its members deployed to Parliament who act against Parliamentary processes disturbing the smooth flow of government business within the legislature. Addressing the post 338th Politburo media session, ZANU PF Secretary for Administration Cde Obert Mpofu, said the meeting had noted with concern conduct of some cadres deployed to Parliament. “The Politburo discussed at length the conduct of Party cadres deployed to Parliament. Corrective measures will be taken against those who do not commit themselves to the processes of Parliament. For, instance we have cases of absenteeism which lead to lack of quorums in the legislature. We are saying that should not be done and will not be tolerated”. The governing ZANU PF party enjoys a two thirds majority in the House of Assembly and has the majority of seats in the upper chamber commonly referred to as the Senate.
