ZANU PF NOT DETERRED BY COVID19

Constituency work continues across the country despite setbacks caused The pandemic has witnessed the death into thousands globally and a slowing of economic growth the world over. However realising that life must go on alongside the virus, the Chiredzi West Constituency observing stipulated requirements has continued to work in order to improve the livelihoods of the people. Speaking during a tour of the constituency Member of Parliament for the area, Cde Farai Musikavanhu said he is working hard to ensure the community "This area used to be paddocks for Tongaat Hullet. We are engaging the company to engage in strong CSR in support of farming initiatives," Cde Musikavanhu said. "We are also trying to assist the communities along the canals to access their ten per cent water rights for supplementary irrigation." The constituency has seen the building of schools as part of initiatives to build a highly literate society that will contribute meaningfully to the economic growth of the country. He has a programme to establish solar powered borehole which will be established at all community gardens. The rehabilitation of dip tanks is also underway. Self help projects such as the bread making venture which saw the Training of Trainers and various communities across the country are also yielding intended results.
