ZANU PF legislators have intensified their efforts to develop and empower their constituencies in their mandate in line with ZANU PF First Secretary and President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s vision of achieving a middle class economy
The efforts ranging from establishing income generating projects, adopting cleaner energy technology and ensuring food security have seen the Members of Parliament working tirelessly during this Covid19 period to also raise awareness of the pandemic and help make the communities remain safe.
Sanyati constituency legislator and Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Development Honourable Polite Kambamura over the weekend distributed food and other logistical services to support the community in line with President Mnangagwa’s vision of constantly supporting the poor both in rural and urban communities.
Honourable Kambamura saluted President Mnangagwa for facilitating the availability of such relief across the constituency which has seen over 5000 people benefiting so far. He said emphasis would be on humanitarian assistance, disability care, catering for the elderly’s welfare, rural development, community development and public health management.
Honourable Kambamura also vowed to take advantage of his weekly visits to the Constituency to educate people on available social welfare programmes being ushered in
ZANU PF Legislator Honourable Cuthbert Mpame also took time over the weekend to deliver 50 bags of cement to kick start an ECD school at Gonakudzingwa Murowa ward 18 constituency in Zvishavane. He also visited several income generating horticulture centres his constituency.
ZANU PF Legislator for Nkayi South Honourable Stars Mathe took some time to also hand over sanitisers and face masks to Nkayi SDA Church members with the churches now having been given the go ahead to congregate although in smaller crowds of 50 people.
ZANU PF Makoni North constituency legislator Honourable James Munetsi donated 10 solar panels to Hangaiwa Primary School. The project is expected to cover 16 schools in the constituency with each getting 10 solar panels.
