ZANU PF First Secretary and President, His Excellency Cde Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa says the revolutionary mass Party is in touch with the grassroots unlike its detractors who spend time on illusions.
He said this during the 131st Ordinary Session of the Central Committee held at the Party headquarters.
He took time to encourage the members to continue working to achieve the goals of an upper middle income society.
”I am encouraged by the formidable resilience spirit shown by ZANU PF. Detractors spend their time in the wilderness of social media with its illusionary false community. ZANU PF on the other hand is on the ground in the villages and wards winning the hearts and the minds of the people on the ground. We must continue,” President Mnangagwa said.
”The recent by-elections held in Tsholotsho, Matabeleland North are a case in point. I say Congratulations, Makorokoto, Amhlophe ZANU PF. Let us not rest and become complacent. Victory is a continuous responsibility.”
ZANU PF won the recently held by-elections in Ward 1, Ward 10 and Ward 21.
