The adage says wine tastes better with age and what if not the leadership of President and First Secretary of ZANU PF Cde E.D Mnangagwa whose birthday was celebrated ZANU PF celebrated President Mnangagwa's birthday through the presentation of a birthday cake ahead of making his opening remarks at the Politburo meeting. The day which falls on the 15th of September annually, was characterized with birthday messages from various Party members who could not hide their joy for another added year. The four layer cake was made The man has worked tirelessly to usher his people to a middle income economy through the hard honest work of his people. It is an uphill task yes just as the four layers but he has assured his people that it will be achieved even amidst all the setbacks he has been facing. The white colour also seemed to symbolize the purity of heart, in that President Mnangagwa has been calling for honesty in all dealings with the rooting out of corruption being paramount. "This is the culture of the 2nd Republic of nation building, of peace, unity and love as we develop the Zimbabwe we all want," he says. Happy birthday Mr President.
