ZANU PF Youth League Secretary Cde Tino Machakaire has commended His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa for his stance of involving the youth in decision making processes.
He made the remarks during this year's first National Executive Council meeting held at the Party headquarters.
The meeting aimed at approving this year’s plan of programmes witnessed all members also paying a moment of silence to the late Namibian President Cde Hage Geingob.
"Moreover I am proud to commend His Excellency, the President, Cde Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa for his visionary approach to generational blending," Cde Machakaire said.
"His recent Cabinet appointments have seen youthful Deputy Ministers being appointed to key ministries, giving a vital voice to the youth in critical matters.
"The President's advocacy for youth accommodation in various key sectors of the economy demonstrates a profound dedication to addressing the concerns of our nation's young people."
Cde Machakaire took time to share the Party’s solidarity with sister parties in the region.
"I was with Cde Mbalula of the ANC and we were talking about their upcoming elections. I assured him that ZANU PF as a Party will stand with the ANC. We shall be sending a delegation from our Youth League to show our solidarity with them. We will do the same with SWAPO of Namibia as both countries will have elections this year.
"At this juncture, may we all observe a moment of silence for the late President of Namibia, Cde Hage Geingob. May his soul rest in peace."
