Women’s League mobilisation drive highMuzarabani Growth Point was a hive of activity today as ZANU PF Women’s League takes its mobilisation drive to Mashonaland Central Province.There has been so much activity in the ZANU PF Women’s League following the department’s mobilisation drive ahead of this year’s National People’s Conference to be held in Goromonzi.Department Director Cde Oliver Mandipaka says the attendance at these meeting has been overwhelming.“We have been in the various provinces meeting women from all walks of life, churches, the mining sector, civil servants, professionals and colleges in order to revive the spirits of cadreship in the women, to continue mobilising and to take stock of the self-help projects,” Cde Mandipaka said.“The women are enthusiastic and grateful for the support given by their various Members of Parliament. You can tell this is an honest and sincere support from the women. The general outcry is that they need more resources to be able to continue with their businesses and would have loved a direct budget from the Party to fund their activities.The Women’s League national executive has divided itself into three teams that will visit the country’s 10 provinces this month.The first team led by the Secretary of the Women’s League Cde Mabel Chinomona covering the Harare, Mashonaland West and Central Provinces.Team two led by Deputy Secretary for Women’s League Cde Angeline Masuku will cover Midlands, Matabeleland South and North Provinces while team three led by Secretary for Admin in the Women’s League Cde Monica Mutsvangwa will cover Manicaland, Masvingo and Mashonaland East Provinces.
