ZANU PF Director General Brigadier General Ezekiel Zabanyana says the Party staff must be environmentally exemplary.
He said this remarks when the staff engaged in a clean-up campaign at the Party headquarters this Friday.
As per declaration by the Party’s First Secretary and President His Excellency President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, every first Friday of the month is set aside for cleaning the environment.
"Our President declared the first Friday of the month as a clean up day to make sure we keep our environment clean. This exercise is led by Her Excellency, The First Lady Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa through her Department as Secretary for Environment and Tourism within the Party. We must therefore be exemplary in keeping our environment clean as this ensures that such diseases as cholera and typhoid are kept at bay," the Director General said.
"We must also not forget the 3Rs Principle of reduce, reuse and recycle as this are key in achieving a safer and clean environment."
