Speaking during the 3rd Annual Conference held at Mvuma, Johane the 5th of Africa International Church Founder Archbishop Dr Andby Makururu said gone are the days when the people of Africa must do away with their culture as they are doing so st their own peril.
"We are busy pursuing a foreign education and doing away with who we are as a people. We are doing so at our own peril as the enemy is busy looting our resources while we pursue this education. We must not forget who we are and where we came from," Archbishop Makururu said.
"Let us eat our own local food which is more healthy. We eat foreign food which is now giving us numerous diseases that are killing us.
"Many are well educated but are not able to till their own land. They are detached from who they are as a people."
