FRELIMO's Youth League this weekend celebrated 48 years of preserving Mozambican history in Tete Province in a meeting which brought that country's highest leadership.
The event attended by the Party's leadership including His Excellency, President Daniel Francisco Chapo also witnessed Johane the 5th of Africa International Church Founder Archbishop Dr Andby Makururu praying for that country's unity, peace and development.
While addressing the youths, President Chapo encouraged the youths "to unite and work together in order to ensure the country remains in the hands of the Mozambican people. This unity will allow for our country to develop while we remain in peace. The problems in Cabo Delgado, our God will resolve them."
President Chapo added that the country has "numerous resources which we must use to develop our country. We are working with other countries which is why we invite our friends from the region such as Archbishop Makururu to come so that we can be able to move our country forward."
Archbishop Makururu who was invited to attend the event due to his significant role of praying for that country, prayed for unity, peace and development and encouraged the region to "speak with one voice and unite."
