Logos University's... says an effective leader is one who can identify tomorrow's problems and solve them today.
Speaking during a training session of the Johane the 5th of Africa leaders in Harare on Saturday, Dr Molapo noted that it is important to leave a legacy not a vacancy.
"An effective leader is one who identifies tomorrow's problems and solves them today. There is so much unemployment today, effects of climate change and we need solutions. You therefore as leaders need to have the 7Cs of leadership which are a calling, commitment, conviction, competence, character, communication and a clear conscience. As leaders embrace these 7Cs of leadership."
He added that gone are the days when the church only preached Jesus without being relevant to the current needs of the people.
"For many years the church had been quiet. The issues happening now are so vast. Right now in Zimbabwe, you have cholera, unemployment and climate change. So instead of the church always being against something, our motto has always been for something," he said.
"We believe the language of the current revolution is collaboration so we are bringing that language into the church because the church cannot only prepare people for heaven but it must also prepare people to live and add meaningful contribution in society."
