President Mnangagwa has kick started the year 2024 with various economic turnaround programmes which paves way for the Second republic to continue to shine in building the nation brick by brick, stone upon stone and step by step.
The first visit by President Emmerson Mnangagwa to attend the first Italy-Africa summit demonstrates that the ZANU PF Government is open for business and walking the talking on its foreign polices under the banner engagement and re-engagement. The Italy-Africa Summit is a platform for Italy to review its approach to the African Continent.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa also attended the World Government summit in United Arab Emirates where he managed to visit the Dubai Multi-Commodities Centre (DMCC) to appreciate the marketing and trading of various products, including minerals, gas and agricultural produce. The DMCC is a company under the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government which provides a platform for the trading of various commodities.
President Mnangagwa also toured the General Headquarters, Criminal Investigations and Forensic Science of the Dubai Police and had the opportunity to grasp the concept of Smart Police Station (SPS).
Going forward, the government under President Mnangagwa will prioritise guaranteeing this momentum through household and nation food security and accelerating the on-going economic turnaround milestone projects across all sectors.
During the 2023 harmonised general elections Zimbabweans indeed demonstrated that they are a mature democracy and defended the Revolutionary Party which is born out of the sacred blood of those who fought for the independence, freedom and democracy.
Under the Second term President Mnangagwa promised during his inauguration speech to re- commit and continue supporting and upholding the on-going projects initiated in the first term of office earmarked for economic turnaround.
During the course of the year 2024, ZANU PF Government and cabinet under the able leadership of President Emmerson Mnangagwa will continue to deliver on the promises they have made to the nation which will result in the transformation of the living standards of the people, especially those in marginalised rural communities and they will also immensely benefit from the accelerated Presidential programmes across all sectors.
The Agricultural sector which is panacea to economic development will witness rural development that will be implemented at full scale through robust rural agriculture industrialisation models.
President Mnangagwa continuously reiterate the call that Zimbabwe will remain a sovereign state that is a friend to all and an enemy to none and as a nation it deserves respect which it also shows to other nations and international organs such as the African Union and United Nations.
Therefore it is Zimbabwe’s DNA to welcome those Nations who want to work with the new ZANU PF Government in building lasting partnerships. Zimbabwe under the leadership of President Emmerson Mnangagwa and ZANU PF government will always be open for business locally, regionally and at global level.
It is also critical for every Zimbabwean to once again maintain and endure the spirit of unity and peace that characterise the past election period and shun violence, tribalism, hate speech as well as divisive tendencies.
