Equatorial Guinea's Head of State, His Excellency, President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo has commended the efforts by His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa to improving the international standards of Zimbabwe.

Speaking during a dinner hosted for his, President Nguema Mbasogo took time to appreciate the relations between the two diplomatic countries.

"Our presence here on the Zimbabwean soil is a clear expression of the political will to understanding our bilateral relations based on mutual respect, reciprocal cooperation, solidarity and a shared vision of a prosperous and sovereign African vision," he said.

"I would like to express our appreciation for the leadership of President Mnangagwa, the Head of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Your vision, Sir to lead your country towards a phase of transformation for progress and stability, the development of strategic infrastructure as well as efforts to strengthen the international standards of Zimbabwe are all reflected in a clear and sustainable reach."
