The First Secretary and President His Excellency Cde E. D Mnangagwa said as a revolutionary party, ZANU PF must continue to live up to its enduring character as there are mechanisations
President Mnangagwa said this on Friday when he was addressing the Central Committee at the ZANU PF Headquarters in Harare.
Detractors have been spreading lies and fake news on social media and doing all sorts to destabilise the nation’s political and economic environment.
However this has not affected ZANU PF which has remained firm and focused.
“Let us continue to live up to our enduring character as a mass revolutionary Party, forebearing the emancipation process of our people from all forms of attacks. We are a Party of the People from the People and for the people," said President Mnangagwa.
“This session comes against yet another crushing failure of mechanisations
"I applaud the people of Zimbabwe and the leadership of the Party for remaining resolute in defiance of the opposition’s regime change agenda and worrying levels of self hate through a sustained call to make our country Zimbabwe ungovernable.”
President Mnangagwa went on to encourage people to preach unity, peace and love in order to develop the nation.
“Let us shun divisive and evil concoctions by merchants of doom and their handlers who are bent on keeping our country stuck in a cycle of disunity and confusion. Let us continue to preach unity, peace, love and harmony so that we develop our nation,” he said.
