NO CRISIS BUT CHALLENGES IN ZIMBABWE

ZANU PF and ANC have agreed that there is no crisis but challenges in all countries and will meet regularly in order to discuss and resolve the challenges. This was said The ANC delegation held a bilateral meeting with ZANU PF on issues of mutual interest. The visit is against the backdrop of false claims of the nation being in a crisis. During the question and answer segment, Cde Magashule highlighted that they had discussed on challenges and not crisis because there is no such thing as a crisis. “We have agreed as ANC that we will come back and engage other stakeholders or whoever you refer to as any political party so that we understand and comprehend the challenges," Cde Magashule said. "Maybe you use the word crisis, but we have agreed that we have challenges facing the entire continent, our respective countries and therefore whenever there are challenges in Zimbabwe or South Africa as liberation movements such challenges must be confronted for as long as they affect our people. "That is why we are here to say lets further consolidate and work selflessly for those poor people, the marginalised, the people of South Africa and Zimbabwe because we are one, we are Africans. We have committed to working together for our people.” Cde Mpofu reiterated the issue of challenges saying there is no crisis in Zimbabwe but challenges and the two parties therefore decided to meet regularly. “We also tried to avoid using the word crisis because there is no crisis in Zimbabwe. That is why my colleague has referred to them as challenges, not only in Zimbabwe but in South Africa," Cde Mpofu said. "The discussions revolved around the challenges affecting the two countries and the two parties. Hence the agreement that we meet on a regular basis to address those challenges.”
