President and First Secretary of ZANU PF Cde E.D Mnangagwa says the country's heritage will continue to be preserved.
Efforts have been made to continue preserving the country's history and heritage through the National Museums and Monuments. Some of the preserved sites such as the National Heroes Acre among others are tourism sites which rake in the much needed foreign currency.
Speaking during the Politburo session today President Mnangagwa said preservation of this country's history will continue to be implemented.
"In all these Party and National activities, we should constantly reflect on our freedom and independence as a gift bequeathed to our nation by the departed heroes and heroines of our country," President Mnangagwa said.
"We, thus honour them Mbuya Nehanda, General Mtshane Khumalo, Sekuru Kaguvi, Chaminuka and King Mzilikazi among others with pride."

The e-gala will be held under the theme "Honoring our heroes, Celebrating independence, unity, peace and development: A March towards vision 2030.
