ZANU PF Secretary General Cde Obert Mpofu has challenged the people of Matabeleland North Province to be united in order to move the Party forward.
He said these remarks during the victory celebrations held at Jambezi, Hwange East in Matabeleland North over the weekend.
Hwange East had 8485 votes, 446 votes less than those garnered by the opposition.
"I am happy to see all Hwange leadership here for these celebrations. Let's be united because people look at you, and if you are not united, people will be divided. Matabeleland North Province should grow, and we we will achieve more together," Cde Mpofu said.
"You all have Party positions, but you fight for other people's positions. Let's not be greedy for positions because we will divide the Party. Let's read the Constitution because it guides us."
Cde Mpofu thanked the electorate for voting in their numbers for President Mnangagwa, the Member of Parliament and Councillors.
"You gave us good votes to show that you appreciate the Party. We are therefore here to thank you for that."
