INVESTORS URGED TO INVOLVE EVERYONE FOR INDUSTRIAL GROWTH
The First Secretary of ZANU PF and President His Excellency Cde E. D Mnangagwa has urged investors to involve local communities
President Mnangagwa said this whilst addressing delegates at the Signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Government of Zimbabwe and Caledonia mining corporation.
“As we carry out the various projects let us be the intricate nexus between the natural environment and development through adoption and usage of appropriate mining technologies. Equally in the spirit of devolution, let us involve local communities for the growth of rural industry systems and achievement of robust provisional GDPs," President Mnangagwa said.
“I therefore exhort investors in all sectors of the economy to establish partnerships which propel our national development agenda leaving no one behind."
President Mnangagwa went on to say that the New Dispensation is working on measures of improving the ease and cost of doing business.
“My Administration is accelerating measures to improve the ease and cost of doing business. The establishment of Zimbabwe Investment and Development Agency (ZIDA) provides impetus and drive to 'Zimbabwe is Open for Business' mantra,” he said.
The Ministry of Mines and Mining Development and Caledonia Mining Corporation were urged speed up the implementation of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Government of Zimbabwe and Caledonia Mining Corporation saying the Bureaucratic and lethargic tendencies are a thing of the past.
