His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has urged those who love the ruling revolutionary Party ZANU PF to generously give for its betterment.
Speaking during the ZANU PF 23rd National People's Conference Fundraising Dinner in Harare this evening, President Mnangagwa had this to say:
"Allow me to begin by expressing my sincere gratitude to all our well-wishers who contributed to the Party. The responsibility of building our beloved motherland, Zimbabwe, rests upon all of us as Party members and citizens. We therefore have a collective duty to support and advance Party programmes that are aimed at shaping a brighter future for our nation. ZANU PF is a revolutionary, colossal mass party that welcomes everyone who shares in its vision and aspirations for Zimbabwe’s development and progress.
“By contributing to the Party, we strengthen its capacity to fulfil its mandate and successfully support the 23rd People’s Conference. The conference theme serves as a reminder that our decisions and deliberations must be transformative, meaningful, and impactful. As political leaders, working hand in hand with the business community and all sectors of society, we share a collective responsibility to turn our national vision into reality and achieve an upper-middle-income, prosperous economy by 2030.
“We must never shy away from exploring and developing sustainable, long-term sources of income. Through unity of purpose and collective effort, we can achieve meaningful development and improve the quality of life for all, ensuring that no one and no place is left behind.
“We look forward to fostering mutually beneficial partnerships that contribute to our nation’s development and prosperity. May this fundraising initiative pave the way for fruitful deliberations, meaningful networking, and lasting partnerships that will drive our shared vision of progress and development.
“Blessed is the hand that gives generously. Our Party, ZANU PF, requires financial support to strengthen its activities and advance its objectives, making this fundraising initiative both important and timely.
“As we come together in a spirit of unity and shared purpose, let us raise our glasses to the unity and prosperity of our beloved nation, to good rains that will bring us a bountiful harvest and ensure food security for all, and to the continued development and well-being of our people.
“To all our distinguished guests, supporters, and well-wishers, I warmly welcome you. May this occasion be marked by generosity, fruitful engagement, and lasting partnerships.
“Welcome, and cheers to unity, prosperity, and the success of our fundraising initiative."
