The First Family has been commended for their unwavering drive towards Zimbabwe's development agenda.
Speaking during the Policy and Coordinating meeting this Monday at the Party Headquarters, Cde Patrick Chinamasa the Treasurer General who spoke on behalf of Cde Obert Mpofu the Secretary General, said their work is in line with the national agenda.
"His Excellency, the President and First Secretary of the Party commissioned a US$30 million state-of-the-art Bakers Inn Factory in Bulawayo last Friday. The highly automated factory can produce around 160 000 loaves of bread per day. In his address, the President highlighted that raising technical standards is essential to increasing the nation's productivity and competitiveness. Moving up the value chains is a key strategy being used to develop our economy in accordance with the national agenda," he said.
"The First Lady, Her Excellency, Cde Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa, who is also the Party’s Secretary for Environment and Tourism officiated at the inaugural Farm to Market and Arts Festival 2024 exhibitions held at the Old Hararians Sports Club in Harare over the weekend. The program primarily encourages Gastronomy Tourism by bringing Zimbabweans together through traditional dance, artifacts, vibrant agriculture, cultural heritage and cuisines."
